The course, often met with a whimsical nod to its topography, invites participants to traverse a landscape that gently undulates with what locals playfully call “bumps in the road.” Life’s metaphorical parallels are reflected in the race’s response to inquiries about hills – “What Hills? It depends on your perspective.”
The start and finish lines, located on LaHarpe Boulevard behind the Statehouse Convention Center, serve as the epicenter of the action. As runners and walkers navigate the course, visible mile markers stand as witnesses to their progress, each step bringing them closer to accomplishment. With the clock ticking from the 6 am starting point, participants have a generous 8-hour window to conquer the course, with digital clocks at the Finish Line ready to display their unofficial times

This year, participants can immerse themselves in a brand-new theme, injecting an extra dose of excitement and camaraderie into the already electric atmosphere. Also a revamped course, and a glorious medal awaits.
Brace yourself for an early morning thrill on LaHarpe Blvd as the Little Rock 5K and 10K races set off at 7:30 am, followed by the pint-sized champions of the Little Rockers Kids Marathon at 11 am. For the early birds and pre-approved participants, the Marathon Early Start commences at 6 am on March 3rd, with the Little Rock Half Marathon and the flagship Little Rock Marathon launching at 8 am.
