On May 12, 2018, St. Joseph, MN USA, hosted Lake wobegon marathon with 345 finishers. Males – 197 , Females – 148.

The male winner set an impressive pace, completing the marathon in 2 hours, 45 minutes, and 52 seconds, while the female champion blazed through the course in 3 hours, 05 minutes, and 43 seconds.

Braden Richardson grinded past more than 300 runners to win in 2:45:52. William McGinnis earned runner-up honors with a time of 2:54:44. Bryan Larison got the third place in 2:55:06.

For the women leaderboard, Wanda Gau claimed victory with a time of 3:05:43 . She bested Rachel Rice who crossed the finish line 7 minutes behind her. Finishing third was Sarah Schmidt-Dannert – 3:19:16.
